西安阿房宫凯悦酒店Xi’an E’pang Gong Hyatt Hotel

阿房宫酒店位于古城西安的市中心，设计没有采用复古的形式，而是以体形和隐喻的手法，将规模宏大的现代化酒店与具有悠久历史的西安古城相协调。设计将客房主楼分为三部分，与主干道呈45度角布置，层层后退，其突出的轮廓既有城楼高耸的趋势，也暗合歇山屋顶的形式，令人联想到秦汉时期的高台建筑。檐口的条带也以非常含蓄的方式表达了传统屋檐形式。

As a 5-star hotel in the downtown of Xi’an, despite the traditional style, it coordinates the requirements of modern hotel and the ancient city with a concise and metaphor strategy. The main building is divided into three parts and two of them are arranged at an angle of 45 to the traffic line. With the staggered arrangement, it reminds the rising gesture of gate tower and the silhouette of traditional huge roof. The brown strip on the top of the wall also indicates the appearance of traditional eaves.
